ICP9950

Ractopamine is an adrenergic beta-agonist which is banned from use as a feed additive. The anti-ractopamine antibody is produced in rabbit using ractopamine-KLH conjugates and affinity purified using ractopamine-agarose. The antibody was proven to be useful for detection and quantization of ractopamine in ELISAs and gold colloidal strip systems.

Indirect competitive ELISA for ractopamine: 1) Immobilized antigen ractopamine-BSA (EDC coupling): 0.25 mg/mL 1st Ab: 0.01ng/mL, 2nd Ab: 0.25 µg/mL Sensitivity: IC50 = 1.5 ng/mL free ractopamine Linear range: 0.5-15 ng/mL
